The Company

Marfur s.r.l. is a company specialized in the production of leather garments, founded in 1991, with a current output of about 45,000 pieces per year, divided into 25,000 winter items, 15,000 summer items, and roughly 5,000 sample pieces. The company can provide extensive sourcing of every type of garment leather—also customizing the processing—and a range of workmanship (bonding, weaving, various kinds of lacquering, embroidery, applications, etc.). It is also structured for treatments on finished garments (washing, tumbling, waxing, shading, etc.).

We have an in-house pattern-making department with six pattern makers and eight prototype makers, where 100% of the patterns, canvases, prototypes, etc., are created. All garments are therefore designed and produced internally by the company. Production takes place in Italy, Romania, and India, and each facility is constantly monitored by our technicians, who follow every stage of processing; final testing is carried out by our staff in a dedicated facility.

Production

Made in Italy, made in Romania, made in India—we operate in every market according to the client’s needs. We guarantee quality and accuracy of the product everywhere. In recent years, “Made in Italy” has been in very high demand, but Romania has also long guaranteed an ever-higher quality standard. To meet every type of production—not only leather but also fabric, down jackets, and knitwear—we acquired a Romanian company, our long-standing partner, and together we are developing work for the coming years, relying on a highly specialized firm with strong production potential. For years, we have also maintained a close collaboration with a leading company in India that guarantees us products of excellent quality and craftsmanship, able to satisfy every brand.

There is a thin line between gesture and form.
A precise instant in which the material yields, shapes itself, breathes.
It is not fashion; it is not memory.
It is leather that captures time
and returns it, with grace.
